Whistling Engine

#617

c1957-1959

Though Fisher-Price made lots and lots of different train engines over the year, the #617 Whistling Engine is very distinctive with special exclusive movement all of it's own. When pulled, the engine's boiler pumps in and out making a whistling noise. The train was originally introduced with a teddy bear engineer in the cab. The last two years it was made, the engine was colored different and had no engineer in the cab.
