The #250 Big Performing Circus is a large wooden play-set introduced by Fisher-Price in 1932. This amazing set includes a strong wooden circus wagon that is strong enough for a child to stand or ride upon, but is also detachable allowing children to lift the frame from it's cart to make circus walls. The set includes wooden cut-out animals and a clown with movable, posable limbs, and several different circus props including a ladder, teeter-totter, and barrel. This set proved to be very successful with it's uniqueness and vast play potential, and it was one of the most successful toys of the 1930's.

The Woodsy Circus wagon is a slightly smaller and cheaper alternative to the #250 Big Performing Circus. Just like the #250, the #202 Woodsy Circus Wagon was sold with a wooden circus wagon that can be broken down. The set was sold with five circus animals, a clown, and a lithographed ticket booth with tickets and circus money.

The #201 Woodsy-Wee Circus and #205 Woodsy-Wee Zoo were among the very first 16 toys ever made by Fisher-Price in their beginnings in 1931. These sets were sold with wooden cut out circus animals and a clown that roll on small wooden beads and can be linked together via metal connectors. After the sets using these figures were discontinued, Fisher-Price removed the metal connectors and sold the figures individually.
1937-1938 original retail price was .05¢ each.

This delightful circus set also comes with a large circus wagon with a removable roof that can store all of the accessory pieces. The circus wagon is constructed of wood, has hinged doors on each end that lower to make a ramp, rolls on 4 wooden wheels and measures 15" long, 10 3/4" high and 8 1/2" wide.

This is a 22 piece circus set that includes 11 solid wood figures that have movable white plastic arms and legs. The set also includes 11 circus props, such as a trapeeze, ladders and poles to create lots of Big Top circus stunts.

Home Circus An 18-piece cardboard punch-out toy Big Circus Parade
was produced to accompany the exhibition of American toys organized by a French museum, Jouets Americans 1925 1975. Adapted from a 1932 toy, the artwork of the new game retains the look and tone of the original Big Performing Circus with its wooden pieces decorated with paper lithographs. Production of the Big Circus Parade was funded by SITES and the original toy maker Fisher-Price Toys, a division of the Quaker Oats Company. The SITES toy exhibition, now in its second year, ends its tour at the Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY, where it will be on view from November 21 to January 4, 1981
