The short-lived Change-A-Tune Carousel is similar to the #111 Merry-Go-Round (1972-1977), except this carousel has 3 swinging chairs and a record player on the side. The record player used 3 newly designed records (marked A, B, and C) that were interchangeable with the records that came with the #995 Music Box Record Players. The wind-up crank on the side of the base serves both functions in this case--moving the carousel and playing the record on the turntable at the same time. The accessory Little People figures fit in the carousel seat and the accessory records store neatly under the carousel base.
